SOLPART consortium gathered in Font-Romeu, at the CNRS solar furnace on May 23 and 24, 2019. During this meeting, partners have presented the work they have carried out so far and discussed with all the consortium the next actions to be implemented before the end of the project. This was the opportunity to visit the pilot of the SOLPART receiver, which is going to be tested all along 2019. A fluidized bed and a rotary kiln reactor of 10kW to 20kW have already been tested at DLR, in Germany and CNRS, in France. A pilot scale reactor of heating power of about 50 kW will now be tested for limestone, dolomite, phosphate and cement raw meal (CRM) in the solar furnace of Font-Romeu, France at the CNRS-PROMES laboratory.
